The Vernon Parish School Board released documents today showing their plan for the return to school process next month.
At this time, they Board intends for students to return to their classes in what appears to be a modified face to face environment.
On Monday August 10, Pre-K and K-4 will report to class.
On Tuesday, August 11, Pre-K, K-8 and students in grades 9-12 with last names beginning with letters A-L will report to class.
On Wednesday, August 12, grades Pre-K, K-8 and students in grades 9-12 with last names beginning with letters M-Z will report.
From there, schools will remains in a blended model as long as the state remains in Phase II.
Students in grades PreK – 8 will attend face to face classes Monday – Friday.
Grades 9-12 will have face to face classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays for students with last names A-L and on Wednesday and Fridays for students with last names M-Z.
All other days, will be virtual learning.
Monday classes will be available for RTI students and CTE students who need hands on learning.
Virtual school is also available for families that would like their students to stay at home during this time.
