Rosemary Washington Elie addresses voters in City of Natchitoches City Council District 4 | Around The Town

Fellow Citizens of Natchitoches, Louisiana:

I send a hearty “Thank You” to the voters of District 4 who made their voices heard, by showing up and believing in me, and, most of all, believing in yourself that, with your help, we together can make a change in improving our community.

I will continue to be very conscious of the fact that I am working for you, all our residents, and the best interest of our community.

In the coming weeks, I will be once again asking for your help and support to come out once more. We all must work even harder than before to validate this victory. I know with your help we can do it. Together we can overcome, join in and unite in unity, and make things better and great for everyone of us; not just for us but for our children and our children’s children. It starts today, not tomorrow. The option is up to us.

Let our voices be heard and strength be united. We have heard our communities cry out for help in improvement. This is the opportunity and it is time for us to put forth the action, the dedication, and the hard work because we have the ability, the courage, and the willpower within ourselves to succeed. Help our neighborhoods. Help your neighborhood. Help our people. Help your people to become and be the best that we can be.

Let us all keep each other in our prayers. Keep and have the strength to lean on each other, keeping the enthusiasm and remaining positive toward one another during these trying times.
