The Sabine Parish School Board has announced new leadership roles for the 2020-2021 school year.
Principal Converse High School
Mrs. Terri Webb has been named Principal of Converse High School, effective July 6th. During the 19/20 school year, Mrs. Webb served as Converse High School Principal in an interim capacity.
Mrs. Webb is a certified teacher and school administrator in both Texas and Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Education degree from Lamar University.
Mrs. Webb brings a wealth of knowledge to her campus with over 20 years of experience as a school administrator and classroom teacher.
Mrs. Webb’s dedication, positive attitude, and ability to work with others will enable her to successfully serve the Converse High School students and the Converse community.
Principal Negreet High School
Mrs. Eylda Thaxton has been named Principal of Negreet High School, effective June 16th.
With over 20 years in education, Mrs. Thaxton has most recently served as Assistant Principal at Negreet High School and prior to that, as Instructional Coach.
She is a Louisiana certified Teacher and Educational Leader, she holds a Specialist of Education, Masters of Education, and Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern State University.
Mrs. Thaxton has been an integral part of Negreet High School achieving and maintaining high academic achievement, as Principal we know this tradition of excellence will continue.
Assistant Principal Negreet High School
Mrs. Julia Campbell has been named Assistant Principal of Negreet High School, effective July 20th.
Mrs. Campbell has worked for the Sabine Parish School Board as a classroom teacher for the last 8 years.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Masters of Science degree from Louisiana State University.
Mrs. Campbell is a Louisiana certified Teacher and Educational Leader, she also holds the Mentor Teacher credential.
As a teacher, Mrs. Campbell has been a part of a teaching staff that has achieved the highest levels of educational success, as an administrator, Mrs. Campbell will now support her school to continue this level of achievement.
Administrative Assistant Many Junior High School
Mr. Jeremie Ryan has been named Administrative Assistant at Many Junior High School, effective July 20th.
During the 19/20 school year, Mr. Ryan served as the Administrative Assistant in an interim capacity.
Mr. Ryan is a Louisiana certified Teacher and eligible for his Educational Leadership certification. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Mississippi College, Masters of Educational Leadership, and Masters of Education degree from Northwestern State University.
Mr. Ryan has served as an educator for more than 15 years with 11 years as a Teacher, Coach, and Administrator as an employee of the Sabine Parish School Board.
Mr. Ryan did a great job in an interim capacity during the 2019-20 school year and we expect him to continue to serve his school and students successfully for years to come.
