Additionally, there are 31,728 presumed recovered and 2,724 reported deaths. 639 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized with 83 of those on ventilators. To date, 393,133 residents have been tested. Louisiana’s estimated population is 4.6 million.
Natchitoches Parish positive cases total 172 with 13 reported deaths and 2,091 residents tested. The parish’s estimated population is 38,000.
Sabine Parish positive cases total 47 with no deaths and 1,153 residents tested. The parish’s estimated population is 24,000.
Vernon Parish positive cases are 28 with three deaths and 1,489 residents tested. The parish’s estimated population is 47,000.
Nationwide totals are 1.85 million positive cases with 412,000 presumed recovered and 107,000 deaths. According to the COVID Tracking Project 17.3 million people in the U.S. have been tested for the virus. The U.S. estimated population is 328 million.
Globally, there are 6.21 million positive cases with 2.66 million presumed recovered and 373, 000 deaths. The world estimated population is 7.7 billion.
