Additionally, there are 31,728 presumed recovered and 2,690 reported deaths. 661 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized with 86 of those on ventilators. To date, 387,370 residents have been tested. Louisiana’s estimated population is 4.6 million.
Natchitoches Parish positive cases total 171 with 13 reported deaths and 2,094 residents tested. The parish’s estimated population is 38,000.
Sabine Parish positive cases total 47 with no deaths and 2,013 residents tested. The parish’s estimated population is 24,000.
Vernon Parish positive case 26 with three deaths and 1,495 residents tested. The parish’s estimated population is 47,000.
Nationwide totals are 1.83 million positive cases with 407,000 presumed recovered and 106,000 deaths. According to the COVID Tracking Project 16.9 million people in the U.S. have been tested for the virus. The U.S. estimated population is 328 million.
Globally, there are 6.21 million positive cases with 2.66 million presumed recovered and 373, 000 deaths. The world estimated population is 7.7 billion.
