Natchitoches Parish positive cases increased to 157. Deaths remain the same at 13, and 1,879 residents have been tested. The parish’s estimated population is 38,000.
Sabine Parish positive cases increased by one for a total 41 with no deaths and 1,023 residents tested. The parish’s estimated population is 24,000.
Vernon Parish positive cases also remain the same at 24 with three deaths. A total of 1,293 residents have been tested. The parish’s estimated population is 47,000.
Nationwide totals are 1.72 million positive cases with 365,000 presumed recovered and 101,000 deaths. According to the COVID Tracking Project 14.9 million people in the US have been tested for the virus. The U.S. estimated population is 328 million.
Globally, there are 5.61 million positive cases with 2.31 million presumed recovered and 351, 000 deaths. The world estimated population is 7.7 billion.
