No Memorial Day in Zwolle would be complete without the heroic story for the Torres brothers: Willie, John, and Hosie. All three gave their lives to preserve the freedoms of our United States. Their courage and great sacrifice bring honor to their Choctaw-Apache family. Their bodies were returned to Zwolle via train, unloaded in the Historic Zwolle KCS Depot and transported to St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery where they rest side-by-side for all eternity.
