Friday, May 8, COVID-19 Update | Around The Town

As of Friday, May 8, , there are30,855 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state. Additionally, 20,316 are presumed recovered, and 202,416 Louisianans have been tested for the virus.
Additionally, statewide 1,359 are being treated in a hospital with 185 of those on ventilators. Reported deaths total 2,154 and unconfirmed deaths are 73.
