The Constitution by Dennis Coleman | Around The Town

It seems some have forgotten or perhaps never knew some or all of our Constitution. Probably the most important is the amendment the framers chose to put first, which reads: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Most choose to say this one is currently ”Temporarily suspended.” However you choose to say it, it has been infringed. We pray we will have it fully restored. We hear a lot about the Second Amendment, which simply guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. This amendment is also important. My question to you is this. If the ‘Second’ is ever taken from us, who will protect our first?
