Margaret Lou Drenner
July 30, 1937 – April 11, 2020
Margaret Lou Drenner, age 82, of Gadsden, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020. The family celebrated her life with a private graveside service. Bill Garner, a longtime family friend, officiated. Burial was at Ft. McClellan Post Cemetery, Ft. McClellan, Alabama. Collier Butler Funeral Home directed services.
Mrs. Drenner was born to the late Sylvia M (Hale) Kazee and Samuel Logan Kazee on July 30, 1937, in Logan County, W.Va. On January 8, 1953, she married Ronald Drenner. He preceded her in death as did her son Ronald Lee Drenner.
Mrs. Drenner was also preceded in death by her sisters Joann Kazee Herald Griesmer, Norma Kazee Bates, Barbara Kazee Browning and Sharon Kazee Willingham; and brothers Max Wayne Kazee, Charles Lee Kazee, Jerry Douglas Kazee, Sam (Butch) Kazee, Larry Dale Kazee and Paul Jennings Kazee.
She is survived by her daughters Nora Drenner of Many, La., and Pam (Todd) Boozer; sons Barry Drenner, Jeff (Karen) Drenner, and Craig Drenner; sisters Shirley Kazee Clower, Leita Kazee Workman, and Marilyn Kazee Perry; grandchildren Jennifer (Scott) Holloway, Josh (Alicia) Dunaway, Tyler (Haley) Boozer, Kyle Boozer, Trinity Drenner, Brooke Parrent, Ryan Drenner, Rachel England, Seth and Cameron Drenner; great grandchildren Ethan and Abbygail Holloway, Phoenix and Kingston Dunaway, Raegan, Reed, and Riley Drenner, and Kate and Jack England; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Etowah Baptist Mission Center, P.O. Drawer L, Gadsden, AL 35904.
