Monday, April 13, Louisiana COVID-19 Update | Around The Town

As on noon Monday, April 13, there are 21,016 reported cases of COVID-19 in the state, according to the Louisiana Department of Health and 884 deaths. The day before there were 20,595 cases and 840 deaths.
Additionally, there are 2,104 COVID-19 patients in hospitals with 461 of those on ventilators. And, all 64 parishes have reported cases.
The nationwide total is 554,922 with 29,263 recovered and 22,025 deaths according to data provided by the COVID-19 tracking project. A total of 2,821,149 coronavirus tests have been administered in the U.S. In Louisiana, 104,045 tests have been given.
