As we enter this Easter week I would like to commend our citizens who have closely adhered to the “Stay at Home” order. Applying the practices of “safe social distancing “ and frequently washing of hands are obviously having an impact as we continue to fight to lessen the impact of the Coronavirus.
My heartfelt appreciation goes out to all of our medical workers who continue to tend to the needs of others, without hesitation.
Our law enforcement officers have faced this unseen enemy with great discipline. They have shown professionalism and courtesy in dealing with the publics problems.
Many of our very own medical workers and our law enforcement officers are taking unprecedented precautions when they finish their shifts, in order to have some semblance of family life.
We must all stay focused on the task at hand. If you have not been adhering to the “Stay at Home” order, and you have not been practicing the other safety precautions, please start now. Everyone needs to have some “skin in the game”. This is not a situation to take lightly.
2000 years ago Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice. As we look toward Easter Sunday to celebrate the resurrection, let’s examine where we are as individuals and help make our parish Coronavirus free.
