Update on Covid-19 cases in Lousiana as of 4-7-20 | Around The Town

As of noon, Tuesday, April 7, there are 16,284 reported cases of COVID-19 in the state of Louisiana with 582 reported deaths. Louisiana is the fifth highest state with cases.
States with more reported cases are New York at 131,830, New Jersey at 41,090, Michigan at 17,221 and California at 16,349.
States with the fewest number of reported cases are Alaska at 191, Wyoming at 212, North Dakota at 225, South Dakota at 288 and Montana at 319.
The states bordering Louisiana reported cases are Arkansas at 932, Mississippi at 1915, and Texas at 8,115.
The nationwide total is 379,224 with 11,835 deaths. The worldwide total is 1,381,014 with 78,269 deaths.
