Sabine and Natchitoches parishes continue to see a slight increase in COVID-19 cases. As of noon, Monday, April 6, there are 22 cases in Natchitoches Parish, which is eight more than yesterday. A total of 175 tests have been completed there.
In Sabine Parish, there are seven reported cases, which is two more than yesterday, and 79 tests have been completed. Statewide totals today are 14,867, as compared to 13,010 the previous day: an increase of 1,857.
Data is provided by the Louisiana Department of Health website at noon each day. Cameron and Tensas parishes continue to have no reported cases.
Folks are reminded to stay at home and if you must go out for essentials maintain a distance of at least six feet from others. Also, wash your hands often, cover your cough, and recognize symptoms–fever, cough and shortness of breath.
