Parents and Students are ask to please read the following information.
Governor Edwards has officially extended school closures until April 30th. We miss our students.
Sabine’s teachers and staff are working to provide online activities or paper-pencil activities so that students may work on skills and stay involved with their classes. Any student receiving paper-pencil activities should return those to their teacher once we are allowed to return to school so that teachers can review with students. Check the Home Learning Resource page linked on the district’s website and Facebook for online and paper activities.
The District is providing home-delivered meals for free to students 18 and under. If you have not requested meals, but now want to participate in meals delivered to your home, please contact your child’s teacher or principal.
Teachers will be contacting you each week to check on students and to answer your questions concerning the optional online or paper activities, meals, or questions concerning school.
We are working on a plan for final grades and promotion. The state has provided guidance but more is to come. Please know that we are planning in the best interest of all students.
Graduation ceremonies are on hold until we know when large gatherings are allowed. We know that our seniors have worked hard and have been waiting all year for graduation. Once the ban on gatherings is lifted we will move forward with graduation ceremonies.
Students and families please follow the stay-at-home order and be safe!
