Sabine Parish has its second reported case of coronavirus, according to the daily update by the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH . Additionally, as of noon, Tuesday, March 31, the total number of cases in the state has soared to 5, 237, which is 1,212 more than the day before.
And, four parishes – Cameron, St. Helena, Tensas and West Carroll—have no reported cases.
New Orleans Parish has the most reported cases at 1,834 , followed by Jefferson Parish at 1,193, Caddo Parish at 242, East Baton Rouge Parish at 228, St. Tammany Parish at 220 , Ascension Parish at 161, Lafayette Parish at 188 and St John Baptist at 104 .
Twenty- five parishes report cases in the double digits and twenty- seven parishes report less than 10 cases each. Natchitoches Parish remains steady at two reported cases.
