UPDATE: Town of Many Curfew Update
To accommodate those employees within the town of Many who work until 6 p.m., the curfew imposed for all residents and merchants within the town on limits effective Wednesday, April 1, has changed to 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. All other previously announced exceptions and restrictions to the curfew remain the same.
To control the coronavirus within the city limits of Many only, starting Wednesday, April 1, and continuing through Friday, May 1, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. an enforced curfew is in effect. This curfew is for all city streets except for Hwy 6 and Hwy 171 including San Antonio Ave.
Merchants located on the Town of Many streets are being informed they must be closed during these hours. Merchants operating on Hwy 6, Hwy 171, and San Antonio Ave are exempt since they operate on a state highway. Additional curfew exceptions are for those going to and coming from work, and emergency situations.
In doing this, I hope people will stay home and reduce the spread of the coronavirus. We all must work together as a community to protect ourselves from this deadly virus, said Mayor Ken Freeman in the news release
