Louisiana COVID-19 update for March 30 | Around The Town


As of noon, Monday, March 30, the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) reports 485 additional COVID -19 cases since yesterday, bringing the total to 4,025 positive cases. Five parishes- Cameron, Concordia, St. Helena, Tensas and West Carroll—have no reported cases.
New Orleans Parish has the most reported cases at 1,480, followed by Jefferson Parish at 838, Caddo Parish at 222, East Baton Rouge Parish at 188, St. Tammany Parish at 186 and Ascension Parish at 153.
Twenty-seven parishes report cases in the double digits and twenty-six parishes report less than 10 cases each.
Sabine and Natchitoches parishes have no new reported cases. As a result, cases remain at one and two, respectively.
