10th Judicial District Court in Natchitoches Parish has closed and will remain closed until April 13.
As a result, those with a pending criminal and civil matter during this time frame are encouraged to contact their attorney. All will be notified of a new court date.
Additionally, all criminal defendants are ordered to confirm their correct mailing address with the Natchitoches Parish District Attorney’s Office and their respective bail bondsman.
While the court docket is temporarily canceled, emergency hearings such as 72- hour bond hearings, civil protective orders, child in need of care proceedings, emergency custody matters, proceedings related to emergency interdictions and mental health orders, matters related to public health related to the current coronavirus pandemic will take place.
