The Natchitoches Parish Library has temporarily closed its doors to do its part to slow the spread of COVID-19. While there is no specific date as to when the two library branches will reopen, the earliest target date is March 30.
During the closure, patrons are reminded digital library services are available through hoopla, a digital media service that allows patrons to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, e-books, comics and TV shows to enjoy on their computer, tablet, and phone.
Those not signed up for digital hoopla services can do so with a library card by going to the library’s website, click on resources & materials at the top of the page and select hoopla. Those needing assistance in signing up can email the library at info@natlib.org or message staff on the library’s FACEBOOK page.
Additionally, all library materials currently checked are being automatically renewed.
