Sabine Parish District Attorney Don Burkett

Sabine Parish District Attorney Don Burkett reports that the Spring Session of the Grand Jury met on February 6, 2020 and returned indictments on three (3) cases.

Assistant District Attorney, James S. Seaman, presented the following cases:

Carlos Carhee was indicted on (1) one count of Second-Degree Murder. Carlos Carhee was arrested on November 5, 2019 for the murder of Chevallerious Winfield, in Many, Louisiana. Carlos Carhee is still incarcerated at this time and he will be arraigned on February 27, 2020 at 9 AM.

Aaron Jawaun Holmes and Dereginald L. King were indicted on one (1) count of First-Degree Murder. Aaron Holmes and Dereginald King were arrested on January 1, 2020, for the murder of Joshua Graves in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana.

Aaron Jawaun Holmes and Dereginald King are still incarcerated at this time and will be arraigned on February 27, 2020 at 9 AM.

Jayden Jermon Sepulvado was indicted on one (1) count of Accessory after the Fact to First-Degree Murder and Obstruction of Justice. Jayden Jermon Sepulvado was arrested on January 1, 2020, for Accessory after the Fact to First-Degree Murder and Obstruction of Justice in the murder of Joshua Graves, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana.

Jayden Jermon Sepulvado bonded on a $150,000 bond and will be arraigned on March 26, 2020 at 9 AM
