Fourteen years of a family fun day is scheduled for February 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
It’s the annual Cloutierville Mardi Gras Parade. This year’s grand marshal will be Larry Atteridge, EMS Director at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. He has been a paramedic for more than thirty years and has worked for NRMC for the previous twenty-six years. Atteridge who has lived in the Derry Community for eleven years has committed his life to protecting and providing emergency health care tp the community. He vigilantly monitors the FD1 emergency calls. “I love the people of our area and it makes me feel like I have gained the trust of the people I serve,” Atteridge said.
The co-grand marshal will be Matt Cannon. Matt who was born and raised in Cloutierville works for the EMS and NRMC in Natchitoches Parish. He is also a member of FD1.
All elected officials, bands, drill teams, old cars, church floats, motorcycles, horses, pageant queens, side by sides, golf carts etc are welcome to enter the parade. Absolutely no four wheelers.
Make sure your unit is decorated and have plenty of goodies to throw to the crowd.
All vendors are welcome.
