Jack Brandon – Obituary | Around The Town

September 4, 1931 – January 6, 2020

Funeral services for Jack Brandon, age 88, will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Zwolle, LA with Rev. John Berry officiating. Interment will follow at the Zwolle Cemetery. Visitation time is 10:30 A.M. until service time.

Jack was born in Zwolle but resided most of his life in Shreveport, LA. He retired from the trucking industry after 35 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with family members young and old.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mattie Blackwell Brandon and Nathaniel Webster Brandon and his twin brother Alton, eight other brothers and five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 69-years, Patsy Brandon, daughter Ginger Wimberley and husband Herschel, sons Jimmy Brandon and Timothy Brandon, daughter-in-law Karen Brandon, grandchildren Derrick Brandon, Nicole Dove and husband Tim, Tad Dove and wife Lauren, Tabitha Maschino and husband Josh, Talen Brandon, Wyatt Dove, sister-in-law Joyce Brandon, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Buddy Brandon, Cody Brandon, Josh Brandon, Derrick Brandon, Tad Dove, and Josh Maschino. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. DouglasBrandon and Johnny Ray Mouser.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Guest House for their compassionate care of our father. We especially thank Glenda McDuffy for her extraordinary kindness and friendship.
